Task
_In order to quicken the process, each editorial board member
will take responsibility for two of the previously mentioned categories (portraiture, sports, life in the classroom, etc.) and will peruse the Internet
for what they consider are the “best of show” in that category. You will base your judgments on the
eight essential elements of photo composition:
_Foundational Elements:
1. Fill the Frame 2. Rule of Thirds 3. Depth of Field |

Additional Elements:
4. Shutter Speed 5. Angles 6. Natural Framing 7. Leading Lines 8. Capturing Emotion 9. Use of Repetition |
_Certainly, it would be difficult to find a photo that
contains all nine of these elements, but the photos that you choose should utilize two of the three foundational elements and at least one additional element, but preferably two.
